Welcome to Episode 1 of Odd Socks. Well episode 1 on the new blog site. Ahh excited. This weeks guest is Victoria Austin. Welcome to the series, it’s a pleasure having you as my first guest here. Here is her, in her own words:
Hi, my name is Victoria and I’m a lifestyle blogger from Devon. The sort of topics I blog about include books, beauty, the outdoors (I love gardening) and baking as well as other creative style posts… even some style related ones, sometimes!
Again thank you for being a guest, let’s get into the questions.
1. What inspired you to start blogging?
I’ve blogged on and off a lot over the years, I think really it must have been me seeing other people blog and thinking that looks like such a cool thing to do, I want to try.
2. If you could of starred in any film, what would it be?
This is such a good question, okay I’m going to go for a festive one since it is still just day 2 of January as I answer this – The Holiday, I’d love to hang out at the lovely cottage, equally at the place in LA! Such an amazing film.
3. In the nursery rhyme “rub-a-dub-dub” what the the Baker, Butcher and Candlestick makes do so bad to be put out to see?
I just had to Google the nursery rhyme!! Okay, my take on this – what if the tub was actually a boat and that’s why they went out to sea?
4. Who is your biggest inspiration in life?
So many people, other bloggers really inspire me, ones that are working for themselves, doing what they love. I aspire to that!
5. What is your biggest aim for you as a person in life?
To feel successful, like I’ve achieved something worthwhile… to travel the world one day, to make enough money to live on without needing to get a job (as in, make money working for myself).
Finally Odd Socks, Yes or no?
I want to say absolutely yes, in theory, however I don’t seem to ever wear odd socks myself.
Thank you so much for including me Jay, it’s been great answering the questions.
Its a pleasure Victoria. Go check out her blog and twitter in the links below and give her a cheeky follow.
Until next time, have a great day.
